The untold story

88th anniversary of the lynching of Thomas Shipp and Abram Smith Marion Indiana August 7, 1930

This is my interpretation of Michelangelo's crucitfition. It is colorful and beautiful. Some of us love the religion of sacrifice but have a hard time understanding something that happened in the lives of our grandparents. However, I see the truth in this sacrifice because it is a reminder of our strength and our ability to survive anyway. It's beauty.
